I figured I'd try just letting the game sit for a bit and try to work itself through but so far it's been 5 minutes and nothing. I tried clearing my xbox's cache and went ahead and installed the game, but neither seems to have worked. I REALLY don't want to go back to my last save and try to figure this out so I was hoping there was a way around this on the xbox.
Now, every time I try to load that particular save, it just freezes about 3 seconds in and won't do anything.
So I let them kill me and I try to load the save game and my xbox freezes on the load screen. It tells me that a missions failed so instead of running away like crazy, stealing a bunch of guns on the way out, I decide to just die because I figured I'd want to do the mission later.
